I took this shot of the kids running around near the pond at by my house.

Very cute seeing them running and having a great time. the giggling was very cute too.

Powered by Photoblog.com

While we were there, we did a lot of hiking and enjoying the beauty of Mother Nature.

Well, when we were hiking on a small 1.5 mile trail around a pond area, we were shocked to come across A MOOSE!!!! We both looked at each other in total shock and then Grabbed the cameras. He was about 7 feet tall to the top of his head and then the HUGE rack was even bigger. He came within 10 feet of us before turning and walking into the brush. In the last shot you can see that he is sticking his tongue out. That was really fantastic to see and even better that I got that shot.

WOW!! That really made the trip for us.

Powered by Photoblog.com

So, I think this one is the best of them all.

Jimmy is also looking really cute with the amount of concentration he has going on.

Hope you enjoyed the shots because I really enjoyed the concert.

Powered by Photoblog.com

He called me from work and said that he got me 2 tickets to see Reba in concert in NYC. I was so excited with that and then he told me when it was - 11-4-09!!! That was even better! I didn't have to wait.

So he stayed home wiht the kids and a girlfriend and I went to NYC for the day. (Just up the road - about 4 hours away- not bad from DC) Anyway, The concert was in a very small part of the Hard Rock Cafe and she played for about 200 people. It was taped for the CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast. This was special for all the the fans because we were able to see Reba's true personallity shine inbetween each song.
She is such a sweet and funny women.

If you ever get a chance to see her in concert or meet her in person you will understand the why she has so many addoring fans. And I'm happy to be one of them.

FYI - with the photos, the Hard Rock Cafe did not permit any flash photography, so all of these pics were done without any light from my camera. Just the standing lights from the stage.

I took advantage of the opportunity and grabbed my camera and out the door I went.

My neighbor has a very cute bird house which I thought would come in handy for a few of our feathered friends.
